Pilot internship program offers unique experience to high school students

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support and Philadelphia School District celebrated the completion of a pilot internship program giving high school students an opportunity to gain federal work experience before graduation.

New DLA hiring policy targets qualified applicants, expedites hiring process

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support teamed up with their servicing human resources office to bring one of the agency’s first job openings under the fiscal 2016 National Defense Authorization Act-authorized Expedited Hiring Authority to a Hiring Our Heroes event May 30 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.
