KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — One of five DLA Energy fuel laboratories worldwide, the Europe & Africa facility at the Rhine Ordnance Barracks in Germany tests around 2,000 fuel samples each year including routine quality surveillance, investigations of possible contamination as well as testing for secured fuels. India, U.S. fuel agreement operational

Strengthening military partnerships, DLA Energy established a long-term fuel agreement between the U.S. Defense Department and India Ministry of Defence. The agreement became operational June 1 and enables reciprocal fuel sales and purchases, increased Indian military participation with U.S. military exercises, and easier accounting and reporting of fuel transactions.
