Document Services director retires after 38 years with organization

Steve Sherman, Information Operations’ Document Services director, retired Jan. 3 after 38 years of service. He was recognized for his service Dec. 12 at the Defense Logistics Agency Executive Board meeting, where he received a Distinguished Career Service Award.

SEOUL, South Korea — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Korea Inventory Management Specialist Kyu Sok Kwak was recognized as the 2017 United States Forces Korea Civilian Employee of the Year in the Administrator of the Year category during a ceremony at Yongsan Army Base, Seoul, South Korea, Sept. 20.

DLA personnel brave Belgian cold, honor WWII heroes in memorial walk

Members of the DLA Europe & Africa team braved winter weather Dec. 16 to participate in the 40th Annual Bastogne Memorial Walk in Belgium, commemorating the heroic stand made by U.S. and British forces during the Ardennes Offensive — also known as the Battle of the Bulge.
