Frank Kim during a change of command ceremony at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress, California, June 13. The incoming commander, Navy Cmdr. DSCC fuel point project to provide long-term solution for aging tanks

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three 10,000-gallon fuel tanks were installed at Defense Supply Center Columbus June 1, marking the beginning of a long-term project at the installation’s fuel point to replace aging underground fuel storage tanks with above-ground tanks.

Chemist, quality expert inducted into DLA Energy Hall of Fame

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Lee Barry Oppenheim was inducted into the DLA Energy Hall of Fame on March 22. He retired from DLA Energy in 2018 as the Quality Technical deputy director with a distinguished 42-year federal career – all of which was spent with DLA.

Lawyer, judge joins DLA Energy Hall of Fame

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Retired DLA Energy’s General Counsel Martin Harty was inducted in to the DLA Energy Hall of Fame March 22. From 1975-1988, Harty played an influential role guiding the Agency through the unprecedented petroleum marketplace.
