First Praise and Worship Event promotes community connection and spiritual refreshment

Since 2018, employees of Defense Logistics Agency participate in a weekly bible study group, yet the Praise and Worship Event on Aug. 4 marked an occasion that many hope will become a recurring tradition. The Bible study group hosted the Praise and Worship Event at the Kabeisman Conference Room in the McNamara Headquarters Complex, allowing participants to gather and worship in their faith tradition. As attendees entered the room, they were greeted warmly and were able to meet and fellowship with a varied group of people from all over the agency.

Leadership of a critical energy location in the Pacific officially changed hands on July 22 at Yokota Air Base in Japan. During a traditional military ceremony, Air Force Maj. Christopher Price assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Energy Pacific (Japan) from Air Force Lt. Col. Dominic Baker who relinquished command. The passing of the guidon marked not just a transfer of authority, but the continuity of the mission of ensuring uninterrupted petroleum support to U.S. and allied forces across the Pacific.
