New Romanian fuel agreement strengthens military cooperation

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Improving interoperability between military forces across the world, DLA Energy signed a new Fuel Implementing Arrangement with Romania Jan. 19. This first-ever fuel agreement with Romania establishes the terms and conditions for reciprocal fuel sales and purchases between U.S. Defense Department and Romania Ministry of National Defence forces.

Guam fuel systems benefit from recurring maintenance program

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam — The island of Guam’s breezes, salt air and tropical climate is a paradise, but for fuel infrastructure on Andersen Air Force Base it’s a destructive mix. Defense Logistics Agency Energy is taking a proactive preventative approach to stay on top of the island’s corrosive environment and maintain vital fuel systems.

The exercise provides an optimal training environment in the Indo-Asia-Pacific Region and focuses on improving ground, space, and cyberspace combat readiness and interoperability for U.S. and international forces.
