Expeditionary leaders meet in Battle Creek

Battle Creek, Michigan — As many prepare for the holidays, military reserve leaders and civilian staff who support Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services prepared for the future as they conducted their annual Expeditionary Force Leadership Huddle Dec. 6 to 8.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Prior to administering the oath, Cannon and his senior leadership team took a moment to get to know the new associates and provide words of wisdom as they start their new career path. A common theme of advice to the class members was to be open to opportunities -- whether it be a new area of interest or moving site locations—to get outside of their respective comfort zones, to grow, to find mentors and be mentors themselves.

EOQ winner hoping to learn more about disposal mission

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Shontavia Ortega was recently named Employee of the Quarter.

Army Staff Sgt. Marvin Tyler Nelson and Sgt. 1st Class Eugenio Moya, U.S. Army North, pack computers for transport to Wilkinson County High School in Woodville, Mississippi. The computers are being donated to the school through the Department of Defense’s Computers for Learning program.
