Within a month, her then-boyfriend, now husband, found a lump.

Navy/DLA Service Integration Day address logistics challenges, share insights towards streamlined support

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Today's Navy leadership face the daunting task of delivering readiness and setting the global posture to support naval combat power in a contested logistics environment. To facilitate a more streamlined supply chain in the face of pacing adversarial threats, the Defense Logistics Agency director hosted a one-day annual seminar where senior navy leaders and their DLA civilian counterparts could discuss current supply, equipment and training issues impacting the fleet.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — A new interagency agreement, effective Oct. 1, established a formal governance structure aligning supply chain requirements and centralizing logistical support between the Defense Logistics Agency and Department of State allowing for logistics support to their over 250 embassies and consulates globally.
