DLA Finance absorbs Audit Task Force’s responsibility for audit readiness

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The work of a task force created in October 2018 to synchronize audit-readiness efforts and drive the agency toward achieving a clean audit opinion on DLA’s financial statements realigned Sept. 30 under Defense Logistics Agency Finance.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Senior Program Analyst Ken McLain remembers well the part of DLA's history that saw the 1995 transfer of agency employees from Cameron Station in Alexandria, Virginia, to the new McNamara Headquarters Complex at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. New book chronicles DLA’s 60-year history

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — A new 82-page book by Defense Logistics Agency Historian Colin Williams is the first comprehensive account of the agency’s six-decade history.

During their deployment rotation, the 380th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Flight oversaw the throughput of 86.5 million gallons, maintaining the Department of Defense’s largest tactical fuel site.
