ANNISTON, Ala. — An employee with Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Anniston, Alabama received recognition as an Outstanding Department of Defense Employee with Disabilities for 2019. Twenty-three military personnel were honored during the 39th annual Secretary of Defense Disability Awards Ceremony Oct. 3.

HQC employees celebrate Navy’s 244th birthday

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — The U.S. Navy has come a long way since its humble, Defense Threat Reduction Agency official tells McNamara Headquarters Complex.

A self-contained mobile welding station will be used by some of the 1,200 fire stations in Illinois that have a partnership with the state Department of Natural Resources to get access to used and excess military equipment through the Defense Logistics Agency.

Portable electronic devices not allowed in areas approved for classified material

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Portable electronic devices can pose a security threat by allowing sensitive or classified information to be compromised. DLA Director Army Lt. Gen. Darrell Williams recently signed a policy restricting use of PEDs in agency-owned or controlled spaces approved for classified information storage and processing.
