DLA Land and Maritime leadership team kicks off winter holidays with Open House

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime command team hosted a Holiday Open House Dec. 14 in the Building 20 command suite, returning to the traditional gathering for the first time since the pandemic.

AGOISSI Toastmasters Club thriving at DLA Land and Maritime

COLUMBUS, Ohio — While many activities faltered during the COVID-19 pandemic, the AGOISSI Toastmasters Club 3500 based at Defense Supply Center Columbus adapted and thrived.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — It was a perfect day to honor central Ohio's veterans at the annual Columbus Veterans Day Parade Nov. 10. Sunny skies, warm temperatures and Hall of Fame rock musician Joe Walsh drew spectators from all over central Ohio to Columbus' downtown to see military and police units, high school bands and floats.

Stand down screeners cast a wide net

A cohort of about 200 used and excess military property requisitioners - mostly social workers - regularly visit DLA's online inventory for items that will help their local homeless and at-risk veteran populations.
