DLA Troop Support hosts Commander’s Awards ceremony

PHILADELPHIA — There were cheers, pompoms, and championship belts as Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support employees were honored for their achievements during the Commander’s Award Ceremony on March 11.

Philadelphia — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support hosted DLA Vice Director Brad Bunn for a Major Subordinate Command Quarterly Engagement meeting on March 11. Troop Support leadership took this opportunity to share the organization’s progress towards DLA Annual Operating Plan initiatives.

Subsistence supply chain wins triple crown at awards ceremony

Philadelphia — Employees of the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain accomplished a clean sweep in the Team, Supervisor and Employee of the Year categories for the organization’s 2024 annual awards, on March 11.

DLA’s Automated One Time Buy Team earns agencywide accolades

RICHMOND, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency’s Enterprise Automated One Time Buy Procurement Team made significant strides in supporting the defense industrial base and meeting warfighter requirements, issuing over 400,000 solicitations and resulting in approximately 151,311 awards valued at $1.086 billion from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024. The team – comprised of 30 personnel from DLA Aviation, Land and Maritime and Troop Support – was recently recognized with the Acquisition Workforce Team Achievement during the 57th Annual Employee Recognition Program held Jan. 23 at DLA headquarters on Fort Belvoir.
