C&T reestablishes face-to-face relationships with military clothing vendors, gauge state of industry

PHILADELPHIA — As American manufacturers continue making uniform and equipment items for warfighters, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Clothing and Textiles supply chain team are checking out their operations in-person.

A prescription for success: Medical helps safeguard pharmaceutical support to warfighters

PHILADELPHIA — To ensure the military medical community has the best products and services they need to tackle daily emergencies worldwide, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support medical supply chain worked with industry to create an active pharmaceutical ingredient quality assurance platform.

Japan firetruck reuse helps NH Air Guard

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — New Hampshire’s 157th Logistics Readiness Squadron has put millions of dollars in used DOD equipment back to work since getting familiar with the DLA property reuse mission.

The Clothing and Textiles supply chain provides clothing, textiles and equipment to U.S. service members, other federal agencies and partner nations.

Waldemar Acosta retires from Troop Support after 20 years of service

PHILADELPHIA — DLA Troop Support held a civilian retirement ceremony to honor Waldemar J. Caro Acosta, customer account specialist, on Feb. 22, 2023, in Philadelphia.

Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain hosted a town hall on 14 February in Philadelphia. The Subsistence supply chain provides food support for the military all over the world. From individually packaged meals in a soldier's ruck sack, to a ship's galley and to full-service dining facilities on military installations, Subsistence gets that food there. Subsistence also supports other non-Department of Defense activities, such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State Department, Veterans’ Homes and more.

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain hosted a town hall on 14 February in Philadelphia. The Subsistence supply chain provides food support for the military all over the world. From individually packaged meals in a soldier's ruck sack, to a ship's galley and to full-service dining facilities on military installations, Subsistence gets that food there. Subsistence also supports other non-Department of Defense activities, such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State Department, Veterans’ Homes and more.

The Defense Logistics Agency provided quick-turn subsistence support to the USS Carter Hall during their recovery mission of the Chinese high-altitude surveillance balloon shot down off the coast of Myrtle Beach, SC on February 4, 2023. Supplies were delivered on February 9, 2023 with the coordination of Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville.

DLA makes Navy last-minute resupply possible after Chinese balloon strike down

The Defense Logistics Agency provided quick-turn subsistence support to the USS Carter Hall during their recovery mission of the Chinese high-altitude surveillance balloon shot down off the coast of Myrtle Beach, SC on February 4, 2023.

Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support hosted an event in Philadelphia to invite Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support members and a few foreign officers also stationed at Naval Support Activity Philadelphia, on 10 February, to enjoy breakfast and refreshments while also engaging in conversation and collaboration amongst each other.
