Food safety officer gets inside look at future military rations

Philadelphia — A Subsistence chief food safety officer got an inside look into soldiers evaluating food rations during field trials at Fort Carson, Colorado. The field trials are conducted annually by the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research Development and Engineering Center.

Commander to summer hires: you directly impact warfighter

Philadelphia — Students in the Workforce Recruitment Program make a direct impact on the troops they support, the DLA Troop Support commander told the summer hires when he met with them July 20. The WRP connects federal and private sector employers with college students and recent graduates with disabilities.

C&T, industry partners meet on sustaining military support

PHILADELPHIA — DLA Troop Support leaders and American clothing and textiles manufacturing representatives discussed support of military clothing and equipment items during a C&T Partners meeting July 20.

C&E delivers ultra-light combat vehicles to paratroopers

PHILADELPHIA — A select group of paratroopers at Fort Bragg, North Carolina will soon have a new vehicle provided by Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support to increase their mobility.

DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles employees learn how Switlik Inc. makes life-saving equipment that DLA procures for its military customers during a visit to the manufacturer in Trenton, New Jersey June 29. The visit to Switlik was an opportunity for employees to gain first-hand exposure to the industrial base.

Interns among C&T employees to visit life-saving equipment manufacturer

TRENTON — A group of C&T employees gained some industry perspective during a visit an anti-gravity suit manufacturer in New Jersey.

Malaysia, E.J. and Treyvon are ready to swing on the boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey during DLA Troop Support’s Family Day July 7. Thousands of employees and their guests spent the day at water parks and on amusement rides during the annual gathering.

Employees, family, friends storm beach for Troop Support’s Family Day

WILDWOOD, New Jersey — Thousands of employees, family and friends soaked up the sun on the beach and boardwalk of Wildwood, New Jersey July 7 for DLA Troop Support’s Family Day.

A third grader in Oklahoma gave this letter to a school district nutrition director thanking her for the fresh fruits and vegetables provided during a summer school program. DLA Troop Support's Subsistence supply chain provides produce to schools in 48 states in partnership with the U.S Department of Agriculture.
