DLA employees at Richmond required to ensure Lenel access by Oct. 30

All Defense Logistics Agency employees on Defense Supply Center Richmond are required to enroll in the Lenel Access Control System by Oct. 30, to prepare the workforce in the event of heightened security measures or if a lockdown is implemented in response to an active threat.

DLA establishes new subordinate command for weapon systems support

The Defense Logistics Agency today announced the stand up of a new major subordinate command dedicated to supplying spare and repair parts to the military services. DLA Weapons Support integrates the missions of DLA Aviation and DLA Land and Maritime into a single unified command responsible for weapon systems support to the joint force.
