SOME ACTIVITIES FROM JULY:

Establishment of Joint Staff Communication Routing Identifier

The Department of Defense Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD) Team met with representatives from the Joint Staff and Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) to complete the establishment of Communications Routing Identifiers (COMMRIs) and Fiscal Station Numbers (FSNs) for Defense Activity Address Codes (DoDAACs) to enable mandatory interfund billing transactions and processes.

Revised Procedures for Hazardous Property Disposal Release Orders

Our Supply and Finance Teams continued discussions regarding missing Standard Line of Accounting (SLOA)  data for hazardous property turn-ins to DLA Disposition Services.  The focus of this latest meeting was to review a proposed Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) change to resolve missing SLOA data which will allow DLA Disposition Services to properly bill for hazardous waste disposal services provided.

SDR Rejection Issue Resolution

The Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) Team identified an issue with transactions being rejected on “information only” SDRs due to missing original records.  The team coordinated with the Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS) who together determined there was an issue with how data was being extracted from the metrics database.  The error was  corrected and the rejections ceased.
