NEWS: Six of the seven new cataloging Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) transactions have been approved for use and testing. System program offices that interface with cataloging today should be aware of these transactions through the members of the Federal Cataloging Committee. APPROVED DLMS CHANGES (ADC) IN SEPTEMBER:
ADC 1465B: Changing G-Invoicing General Terms & Conditions Applied to Order by Seller. This change shifts the General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) Identifier data element from being part of the order over to the seller who accepts the order. YOUR ACTION: All systems transacting financial data must review and implement in conjunction with ADC 1465.
ADC 1512: DLMS Data Element Name Updates. Data clean-up. YOUR ACTION: None
ADC 1483: 867I Materiel Issue of Expended Ordnance. YOUR ACTION: Impacts only the Navy Ordnance Information System (OIS) and Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS).
ADC 1484: Create DLMS 888N - Cataloging New Item. YOUR ACTION: Any system that is communicating with FLIS (sending/receiving) today will need to implement this DLMS transaction.
ADC 1486: Create DLMS 814R - Cataloging Response. YOUR ACTION: Any system that is communicating with FLIS (sending/receiving) today will need to implement this DLMS transaction.
ADC 1487: Create DLMS 846M - Cataloging Demand. YOUR ACTION: Any system that is communicating with FLIS (sending/receiving) today will need to implement this DLMS transaction.
ADC 1488: Create DLMS 814D - Cataloging DEMIL Code Adjust. YOUR ACTION: Any system that is communicating with FLIS (sending/receiving) today will need to implement this DLMS transaction.
ADC 1489: Create DLMS 888C - Cataloging Status Inquiry. YOUR ACTION: Any system that is communicating with FLIS (sending/receiving) today will need to implement this DLMS transaction.
ADC 1494: Create DLMS 814C - Cataloging Collaboration. YOUR ACTION: Any system that is communicating with FLIS (sending/receiving) today will need to implement this DLMS transaction.

IMPLEMENTED/WITHDRAWN DLMS CHANGES: We have been working hard to clean out some of our older ADCs to make implementation clearer. Find those documents here.
SOME ACTIVITIES FROM SEPTEMBER:
Contractor Expiration Multi-Agency Engagement: The Department of Defense Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD) Team hosted a meeting with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) to discuss enhancements to the Contractor Expiration Report.
Supply Discrepancy Data Sharing: The Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) Team supported OSD in leveraging API capabilities to share supply discrepancy data for analytics within the larger Logistics Common Operating Picture (LOGCOP).
Government Furnished Property (GFP) Inventory Adjustment Support: The Supply Team worked with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition (OASD(A)) to gain a better understanding of inventory adjustment transaction processes and enhancements under DLMS.
Component Property Lead (CPL) Property Accountability Workshop (PAW): We provided a briefing of the DLMS and its importance in establishing data compliance within accountable property systems of record in accordance with DoDI 5000.64.
Product Quality Deficiency Reporting (PQDR) Annual Meeting: Both the SDR and PQDR Teams attended the Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP) Configuration Management Board to support full implementation of DLMS capabilities in the PQDR environment.
