SOME ACTIVITIES FROM MARCH:
Supply Support Request Demand Forecast: Our Data Team and Cataloging Teams participated in discussions with DLA to add more usage rigidity for key nine data elements on the new follow-on demand forecast transaction (DLMS 846M) developed to support FLIS Modernization.
Audit Data Enhancements for Government Furnished Property (GFP): Our Supply and Data Teams in collaboration with Assistant Secretary of War for Acquisition, Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy are modifying several DLMS transactions to convey GFP lineage on contractor reported events.
Alignment of DLMS/X12 Data Qualifiers and Enhanced End of Day Reporting: The Supply Team worked with Army Materiel Command, Navy Supply Systems Command, and DLA Inventory Management on adding a qualifier which will allow materiel to be segregated below the line item and communicated on the DLMS 846P End of Day transaction.
DLA Disposition Services Receipt Reversal Revision: The Supply Team coordinated with DLA Disposition Services on an initiative to update the Defense Logistics Manual 4000.25 that resulted in the modification of the receipt reversal process that is not supported by the new DLA Warehouse Management System.
