Troop Support provides essential supplies to floating hospitals
PHILADELPHIA —
As the USNS Comfort and Mercy medical staffs care for patients on the East and West coasts, they are using supplies and equipment procured by the various Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support supply chains to perform their mission. The two Navy hospital ships, docked in New York City and Los Angeles, were deployed in March to relieve land-based hospitals overwhelmed by the COVID-19 epidemic.

Teamwork provides protective masks quickly
ALBANY, Georgia —
Quick efforts by elements of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the Defense Logistics Agency and U.S. Transportation Command moved 154,000 N95 masks from storage at Albany, Georgia, to make them available to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services or the military in their response to COVID-19.

DLA works to protect mission essential staff at Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna

Many Defense Logistics Agency Distribution employees designated as mission essential in their role of resupplying the military and other government agencies continue to report to work at Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna and Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg, and Defense Logistics Agency Distribution leaders are taking measures to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the workspace.
