Our mission is to deliver innovative, excellent logistics support and solutions that directly maximize the operational availability of your critical weapon systems and supporting systems, ensuring you are always mission ready.

The MDAP Cell is your strategic advantage within the DLA Strategic Business Division. Our primary goal is early program involvement with Program Manager Office (PMOs) at pre-Milestone B point, which allows us to effectively establish effective organic logistics solutions to meet program requirements. DLA's specific focus is program integration in the areas of provisioning, cataloging, supply support, distribution, disposition and obsolescence management. The MDAP Support Cell integrates with weapon system programs to fully integrate organic sustainment.

MDAP Support Capabilities

Assigns National Stock Numbers (NSNs) at the request of the Services, DLA, and Federal Agencies; DLA maintains NSN data for the lifecycle of the item, item identification guides for item descriptions, and performs data quality updates.

Demand and supply manager for Defense Logistics Agency, supports more than 13,500 joint aircraft, 450 intercontinental ballistic missiles and a variety of other weapons systems. DLA is the U.S. military’s integrated material manager for more than 1.7 million national stock number items
