DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz.(AFNS) — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Air Forces Central Command website — FARP, a specialty within the petroleum, oils and lubrication career field, trains Airmen to effectively refuel aircraft in remote locations when air-to-air refueling is not possible or when fueling stations are not accessible.

Representatives of the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center, out of Natick, Massachusetts, had an array of combat helmets on display at the Pentagon, May 24 and 25, 2018, as part of a "Close Combat Lethality Tech Day." This helmet, a NSRDEC prototype, provides equal protection to earlier helmets but at less weight.

Army researching high-performance lightweight helmet

WASHINGTON — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the National Guard website — Researchers in Massachusetts are developing technology that may one day soon yield a lightweight combat helmet that provides more protection than anything ever fielded.

Soldier who survived gunshot is presented lifesaving helmet

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — DLA Troop Support supplies America's warfighters protective gear such as the Army Combat Helmet, one of which helped a soldier escape serious injury while searching for explosives in Afghanistan.
