Inspecting, repairing Warfighter Fuel Storage Tanks

DLA Energy has been meeting with industry and government partners on the maintenance and repair of fuel storage tanks to compare and contrast commercial and DoD tank sustainment processes.

Hurricane Michael created an estimated 15 million pounds of scrap and more than 450 uninhabitable buildings at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. DLA Disposition Services personnel scrap disposal coordination at the installation may last as long as six months.

Hurricane recovery support ongoing at Tyndall AFB
