DLA provides critical mapping support, enables USNS Comfort’s COVID-19 NYC support

RICHMOND, VA — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation answered an emergency request for nautical charts from the Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort in just three hours a little more than a week before it left Norfolk, Virginia, for New York City, where it’s providing critical COVID-19 support.

DLA Disposition Services makes excess military items available for COVID-19 response

BATTLE CREEK, Michigan — Government organizations and nationwide hospitals are getting valuable assets to confront the coronavirus pandemic from a Defense Department asset that manages the military’s excess equipment.

Teamwork provides protective masks quickly

ALBANY, Georgia — Quick efforts by elements of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the Defense Logistics Agency and U.S. Transportation Command moved 154,000 N95 masks from storage at Albany, Georgia, to make them available to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services or the military in their response to COVID-19.
