COLUMBUS, OHio — DLA Land and Maritime hosted a diverse class of 13 new employees on Oct. 24 and 25 in the Building 20 Buckeye Room. The class included police officers, purchasing agents and engineers.

Puget Sound increases contracting awards nearly 50 percent, awarding small businesses millions

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Puget Sound detachment achieved a 43 percent increase in contracting actions this year. The contracting division executed more than $103 million in contract awards during fiscal year 2018 in support of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, an increase of nearly 50 percent over FY17.
