DLA expands Middle East vendor pool with workshop for Omani businesses

To help local businesses in Oman learn how to work with the U.S. government, DLA joined U.S. Central Command and the State Department in hosting a workshop for potential vendors.

Employee with family struck by hurricane sees DLA difference firsthand

A DLA employee with family in Puerto Rico saw firsthand how the agency helps provide the critical items Americans need when struck by disaster.

DLA works closely with the U.S. Forest Service, state governments and local fire departments to get firefighters like the Silver State Interagency Hotshot Crew, shown fighting a blaze in the Stanislaus National Forest, California, the equipment they need.

Into the Fire

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — The Defense Logistics Agency continues its critical support to wildland firefighting, working with federal, state and local partners.

“Historic” is the word for this year’s Wildland fires. Now supplies are coming back to be refurbished and made ready to battle the next incident. Rocky Mountain Interagency Support Cache Materiel Handler, Damion Diaz, is pulling DLA supplied host that’s been tested, washed, and dried and ready to fight fires.
