52nd MDG maintains equipment despite COVID-19

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Spangdahlem Air Base website — The 52nd Medical Group is supporting the base by continually providing critical services while combating the spread of COVID-19. The 52nd MDG provides medical and dental services to keep Airmen from the 52nd Fighter Wing ready to ‘fight tonight’, but also maintains medical tools essential to combat Coronavirus.

146th Airlift Wing assists in federal medical station setup for COVID-19 response in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the 146th Airlift Wing website — Airmen with the 146th Airlift Wing assisted in the setup of durable medical equipment and temporary hospital beds for a federal medical station at the Los Angeles Convention Center to aid in COVID-19 response on March 29, 2020 in Los Angeles.

The MCS Team conducted Logistics MOS sustainment training directly contributing to the timely delivery of Class VIII to the IRT Program and prompt submission of required MEDLOG reports.

Army medical maintenance teams provide 'invaluable' support to National Guard

REISTERSTOWN, Md. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Army website — With the overall goal of ensuring readiness for National Guard units across 23 states and territories, teams from Tobyhanna Army Depot in northeast Pennsylvania spend roughly 17 weeks a year on the road to handle medical maintenance tasks. In total, they aim to service some 6,000 to 8,000 pieces of equipment twice annually.
