Analysts field new tool, linking actions through metric driver trees
Richmond, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency hosted Air Force-DLA Day May 24 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, during which time DLA Aviation Air Force Commander Brig. Gen. David Sanford demonstrated DLA Aviation’s’ Retail Metric Suite and its automated performance dashboards that provide targeted analytics in support of three air logistics complexes and three fleet readiness centers.

Demand planners meeting warfighter needs while saving taxpayers tens of millions of dollars
RICHMOND, Va — The nine demand planners working within the Planning and Integration Branch of Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Ogden on Hill Air Force Base, Utah, have a daunting task. The group continually reviews and adjusts demand signals on over 1,600 collaborative national stock numbers and monitors 80,000 total NSNs supporting the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft, electronic components, commodities, missiles and software.

Changes occurring on Defense Supply Center Richmond
RICHMOND, Va — Those working within Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Planning Process Directorate on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, have new, temporary homes. More than 220 people moved from Building 31, H Bay and Building 32, H and M Bays into the four huge trailers in the parking lot in front of bldg. 59 along G Road. The move took place between May 3-10.

This standard specifies the requirements for an effective EMS. It provides the framework that an organization can follow, rather than establishing environmental performance requirements.
