Active shooter awareness training held at DSCR

RICHMOND, VA — Note: This training was held a few days before active shooter situations in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, left 31 people dead and more than 50 injured in less than 24 hours. Nine people killed when a gunman opened fire inside a church in Charleston, South Carolina. Twenty students and six staff members killed after a 20-year old man shot them inside Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
