Laskodi visits distribution centers, engages with customers

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — On his first trip as commander of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, Army Brig. Gen. John Laskodi made stops to meet employees and tour locations in Jacksonville, Fla., Warner Robins, Ga., Albany, Ga., Cherry Point, N.C., Richmond, Va., Oklahoma City, Okla., and Hill, Utah.

EUCOM and AFRICOM regional operations director visits Distribution headquarters

William Krahling, director of United States European Command and United States Africa Command Regional Operations, and his staff visited DLA Distribution headquarters and its largest distribution center in the network, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pa., on Aug. 18 to discuss DLA’s global logistics processes and how DLA Distribution supports the warfighter.

"Taking Safety to Victory Lane" at National Night Out

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — On Aug. 2, employees, installation residents, and community gathered for Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna’s annual National Night Out. New will retire in a ceremony tomorrow, Aug. 5, prior to the organization’s change of command ceremony, where New will relinquish command to Army Col. Brad Eungard.

Distribution’s Bahrain site takes on a new Class IV material mission

MANAMA, Bahrain — DLA Distribution Bahrain began a new Class IV material mission July 16 providing more efficient and effective warfighter support. Class IV materials consist of construction materials, including installed equipment and all fortification and barrier materials.
