U.S. Marines and Army conduct fuel experiment during RIMPAC

POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii — During the 2018 Rim of the Pacific exercise in Hawaii, the Marine Corps continued to test their Expeditionary Mobile Fuel Additization Capability - a lightweight, portable fuel additive injector that can convert commercial grade jet fuel in to military specification fuel in a expeditionary environment. Defense Logistics Agency Energy provided fuel and training to support the exercise.

Air Force exercises expeditionary fuel additive injection in Estonia

AMARI AIR BASE, Estonia — The U.S. Air Force is successfully converting locally-procured jet fuel to create military-specification fuel needed to power American and NATO jets and ground equipment at Estonia’s Amari Air Base.
