Troop Support showcases workforce talent 

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support skills were on full display as six employees competed in a talent show on Sept. 21. The organization’s Culture Program and Culture Improvement Teams hosted the event to encourage employee participation in the 2023 DLA Culture Climate Survey.

Fueling MacDill's future, one gallon at a time

MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla — The Defense Logistics Agency and personnel assigned to MacDill Air Force Base, work hard to provide jet fuel for MacDill’s aircraft and surrounding locations near Tampa, Florida.

A delegation from the Republic of Korea Ministry of Defense including Director of Weapon and Equipment Division Republic of Korea Armed Forces Col Yongheup Kim; Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Logistics Policy Manager; visited Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support on Sept. 21, 2023, in Philadelphia. AFIMSC partners with DLA to fuel the Air Force fight

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center website — The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center is leading an $840 million effort to repair and replace fuel infrastructure at 83 Department of the Air Force installations. Managed by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, the program is executing more than 200 fuel design and construction contracts that aim to preserve and modernize fuel assets.

Troop Support school supply drive sets students up for success

PHILADELPHIA — To ensure Philadelphia-area students start the school year with new pencils, calculators, backpacks and other items, Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support hosted the second annual Fill-A-Backpack drive. School supply items donated by employees from DLA Troop Support, DLA Information Operations, and DLA Contracting Services Office donated the school supply items that were delivered to the local charity Cradles to Crayons for distribution to area schools.
