Aviation employees welcome new DLA Aviation at Ogden commander

Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation employees, Air Force customers, friends and family, all gathered July 20 to bid farewell to Air Force Col. Daniel Lockert, who has commanded DLA Aviation at Ogden for the last three years and to welcome Air Force Col. Paul Smith, as the new commander.

U.S. Marines and Army conduct fuel experiment during RIMPAC

POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii — During the 2018 Rim of the Pacific exercise in Hawaii, the Marine Corps continued to test their Expeditionary Mobile Fuel Additization Capability - a lightweight, portable fuel additive injector that can convert commercial grade jet fuel in to military specification fuel in a expeditionary environment. Defense Logistics Agency Energy provided fuel and training to support the exercise.

Oklahoma City — A Tinker Air Force Base commander moved up in the ranks at a ceremony held July 11 in the Tinker Club. Lt. Col. James Malec, commander of the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Oklahoma, was promoted to colonel and recognized for his accomplishments.
