Richmond, Virginia — The DLA Aviation Forging and Casting Assistance Team looks for ways to save time and money on contracts by improving processes and solving procurement problems. The AFCAT educates employees on casting and forging processes by taking them to visit two commercial casting and forging companies that make parts for DLA.

Carolynn Michel, (formerly Carolynn Montgomery) a Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Virginia retiree will be inducted into the DLA Aviation 2017 Hall of Fame in a ceremony Sept. 21 on Defense Supply Center Richmond.

Michel selected for DLA Aviation 2017 Hall of Fame

Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Linda Hurry shared her vision for the future of DLA Aviation at her first town hall June 29 on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia.

DLA Aviation team visits Army National Guard in Mississippi

Richmond, Va. — Readiness Cell team members from the Army Customer Facing Division, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation planned for two months with the 1108th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group Mississippi Army National Guard in Gulfport, Mississippi to arrange an outreach site visit June 26-27.

FORT LEE, Virginia — Former Defense Logistics Agency Energy Middle East Commander retired Army Col. Greg Gibbons was inducted into the U.S. Army Quartermaster Hall of Fame at Fort Lee, Virginia, July 11.

Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation and Fort Lee military members honor veterans during an Independence Day ceremony held at the Dunlop House, an assisted living facility, in Colonial Heights, Virginia, July 6.

Former employees selected for 2017 DLA Energy Hall of Fame

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Four former Defense Logistics Agency Energy employees are selected to be inducted into the Energy Hall of Fame at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Sept. 28.

The Defense Logistics Agency Energy Americas at Houston held a change of command ceremony to welcome its new commander, Army Lt. Col. Josielyn Carrasquillo.
