Aviation at Ogden tackles demand signal challenges to bolster aircraft readiness

The team from Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Ogden recently concluded a five-day intensive workshop aimed at refining its demand signal processes. The workshop, held Aug.18-22 at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, brought together more than 150 experts from DLA Aviation, the Air Logistics Complex and Supply Chain Operations to address the complex challenge of aligning procurement practices with evolving operational needs.

2025 DLA Energy Acquisition Workforce Symposium

Defense Logistics Agency Energy hosted the 2025 DLA Energy Acquisition Workforce Symposium at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, here on June 10-12, 2025. The symposium was a hybrid event which could be attended onsite or virtually. More than 300 professionals attended the event both in person and virtually from San Antonio, Texas, Virginia, and other geographical locations. Although the symposium was hosted by DLA Energy, all DLA employees were welcome to attend the sessions.

On June 18, 2025, in a ceremony at the Crow’s Nest Club at Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan, U.S. Air Force Maj. Kevin Knutson transferred authority of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy Indo-Pacific Okinawa to U.S. Air Force Maj. Dominic Baker who commands DLA Energy Indo-Pacific Japan.
