The forum serves as a crucial platform for U.S. military services, foreign partners, and DLA Energy International Agreements and Finance teams to address challenges in fuel exchange, including operational hurdles, infrastructure limitations, and modernization needs.

DLA Energy Quality Technical Directorate host working group, emphasize quality assurance standard practice

The Defense Logistics Agency Energy Quality Technical Directorate working group collaborate on the revision of the Department of Defense Standard Practice: Quality Assurance for Bulk Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standard, Military Standard 3004-1 (MIL-STD-3004-1). The working group met at the DLA McNamara Headquarters Complex at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Army Master Sgt. Errica Watkins participated in the Defense Department's SkillBridge Program with the Defense Logistics Agency Energy Americas North at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Watkins, a first-time participant in the program, completed her fellowship at DLA Energy Americas North from August to October 2025.

Matthew Nichols participated in a Department of Defense SkillBridge program with the Defense Logistics Agency Energy Quality Technical Directorate at Fort Belvoir, Va, from May to September 2025. Nichols was one of two first-time participants selected for the five-month fellowship at DLA Energy.
