State Department official educates workforce on insider threats

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Educating the public is a key part of helping employees mitigate risks associated with insider threats. During Insider Threat Awareness Month, the Defense Logistics Agency hosted speaker Russell Palarea, an expert on threat assessment, insider threats and counterterrorism to share information about mass shootings.

2019 DLA Energy Hall of Fame inductees announced

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Kay Bushman, Lawrence Ervin, retired U.S. Army Col. Gregory D. Gibbons and Kathy Williams will be inducted in to the fourth annual Defense Logistics Agency Energy Hall of Fame, Nov. 13.

Progress made on suspended stock reductions, $305 million worth remains 

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Training and material assessments by DLA quality assurance and engineering specialists have reduced the amount of suspended stock in DLA warehouses to $305 million.
