PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support bid farewell to its newest civilian employee during a retirement ceremony August 27 in Philadelphia. Lisa Vicoli of Information Operations (J6) retired after 42 years of federal service.

‘Walk a Mile’ in September to support sexual assault survivors

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program is asking members of the workforce to participate in the “Walk a Mile” month-long event to support survivors of sexual assault.

New Army Culinary Outpost food kiosk opens in Alaska

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support worked with food managers from the Army Sustainment Command, the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade, the Army’s Joint Culinary Center of Excellence and prime vendors to establish a new Culinary Outpost kiosk at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. A grand opening was held for the kiosk on July 22.

DLA Troop Support helps 1st Stryker Brigade keep its chill

PHILADELPHIA — The 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based at Fort Carson, Colorado, requested 365 coolers for training exercises at the Fort Irwin National Training Center in San Bernardino County, California. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Subsistence supply chain made sure the coolers were delivered in preparation for the training exercise in the Mojave Desert.
