Wear denim on Fridays during November
PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support workforce is encouraged to wear denim on Fridays this November as part of the final installment of DLA’s “Not Just April” sexual assault awareness campaign. Employees are asked to wear denim, from jeans to jackets, or hats, to show their support of the DLA Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program.

DLA Troop Support bids farewell to civilian retirees
PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support bid farewell to two civilian retirees during a ceremony Oct. 29 in Philadelphia. Robert Hutkowski of Construction and Equipment retired after 36 years of federal service, and Pauline Clark-Cox of the Equal Employment Opportunity Office retired after 35 years of service.

CFC: What giving means to me
PHILADELPHIA — Employees of the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support have donated to the annual Combined Federal Campaign for decades. This CFC season, open from Sept. 21 to Jan. 15, 2021, will continue the tradition of helping those with a need. During this period, the 2,000-plus employee-strong workforce will have the opportunity to represent DLA’s theme, “Be the face of giving,” to any of thousands of causes represented by the CFC.

DLA, HHS deliver rapid-result COVID-19 test kits across the nation
PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency supplied over 11 million rapid COVID-19 test kits that provide on-site results within 15 minutes to thousands of sites nationwide by Oct. 2. The deliveries are part of a contract awarded Aug. 28 for 150 million tests on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services and are expected to continue through December.
