Troop Support commander addresses workforce in Germany

KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — The commander of DLA Troop Support was in familiar territory when he addressed the workforce in Kaiserslautern, Germany Aug. 28. Col. Mark Simerly graduated from high school in Frankfurt and had two assignments in Germany.

Misawa staff hosts special trainees for local unit

Misawa AB, Japan — Offering training to customers is nothing new for DLA Disposition Services sites until the trainees are four-legged and wear a different kind of dog tags.

Gimcheon, South Korea — Staff members at DLA Disposition Services at Gimcheon, South Korea, continue to demonstrate their support for divestiture efforts by a variety of Army commands peninsula wide.

Departing employee leaves his mark

Columbus, Ohio — After nearly 40 years of federal service, Lawrence "Mac" McNinch is ensuring he will leave his mark on DLA Disposition Services before he retires this August.

PHILADELPHIA — The MRO team at DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa provided stones, lumber, concrete and other materials used to improve the Joint National Training Center in Romania for Resolute Castle 2017, an exercise to strengthen NATO forces’ capability to train and respond to threats within the region.
