New small business contract yields multiple rewards

Battle Creek, Michigan — A new multi-year contract is helping the Defense Logistics Agency meet several of its small business goals.

Two former military trucks, issued by DLA Disposition Services through the 1033 program to Texas law enforcement, depart the Texas Federal State Property San Antonio Office as the sun sets. The next morning the trucks were operating on the east side of Houston rescuing people from flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey.
