It's getting real: annual exercise adds complexity

CAMP GRAYLING, Mich. — The annual expeditionary training for disposition personnel known as OCORT has added a new location and new real-life customers in a bid to create greater levels of realism.

DLA forward presence enhances commodity, service support during Saber Strike

U.S. forces in the Baltics and Poland for Saber Strike 2018 have easier access to critical supplies like food, fuel and repair parts with the deployment of Defense Logistics Agency personnel to Powidz, Poland.

Site visits support operations and real property accounting

Camp Arifjan, Kuwait — Members of DLA Installation Operations Battle Creek and Europe and Africa recently conducted site and customer engagement visits at DLA Disposition Services sites in Germany, Kuwait and Qatar.

Agency employees at Iwakuni aid transition to improved medical care

MCAS Iwakuni, Japan — Defense Logistics Agency personnel at Iwakuni, Japan, recently watched the fruits of their labor as the Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Branch Health Clinic opened a new facility.

A reenactor joins attendees in honoring the sacrifices of Allied forces 100 years ago during the battles of Belleau Wood and Château-Thierry in France, near the end of World War I. In the background is the Aisne-Marne Memorial.

DLA team marks Memorial Day in visit to WWI commemoration in France

Over the Memorial Day weekend, a group from DLA Europe and Africa traveled to Château-Thierry, France, to participate in the World War I Centennial Commemoration at the Aisne-Marne Cemetery.
