SkillBridge fellow use program as steppingstone for career advancement

Army Master Sgt. Errica Watkins participated in the Defense Department's SkillBridge Program with the Defense Logistics Agency Energy Americas North at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Watkins, a first-time participant in the program, completed her fellowship at DLA Energy Americas North from August to October 2025.

Launched in October 2005, the initiative replaced a cumbersome, paper-based system with a secure, internet-based platform for ordering, receiving, and invoicing fuel.
