Medical supply chain team achieves seemingly impossible pandemic support

Former LNO guides DLA’s pandemic support to FEMA

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Before becoming the Military Services Support Division deputy director in October, Phyllis Erkins supported the national pandemic response by working with DLA supply chain officials to relay information like prices, shipping options, and quantities and types of supplies the agency could provide to FEMA.

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Eleven employees and teams at Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters are recipients of the agency’s 53rd Annual Employee Recognition Awards. The awards recognize leadership and hard work in support of the agency’s mission and include 54 awards in 14 categories.
