Teamwork moves a mountain in the Pacific

USAG Kwajalein Atoll — After more than two years of talks and planning, Defense Logistics Agency personnel watched as two barges successfully transported more than 6 million pounds of scrap material from the U.S. Army Garrison at Kwajalein Atoll.

DLA Pacific welcomes new commander as Daniels receives accolades for job well done

Disposition Services’ Reservists and Civilians participate in OCORT

FORT CUSTER, Mich. — More than 60 Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services military reservists and civilians from all over the world gathered June 8-23 to participate in the annual Overseas Contingency Operations Readiness Training (OCORT) at two locations in Michigan.

After learning about resources, veterans receive surplus military items provided to Veterans Affairs from DLA Disposition Services.

It's getting real: annual exercise adds complexity

CAMP GRAYLING, Mich. — The annual expeditionary training for disposition personnel known as OCORT has added a new location and new real-life customers in a bid to create greater levels of realism.
