Campaign of Learning event provides insight to industry future capabilities

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Campaign of Learning program held an event for employees to learn how industry partners' future operations and challenges they are facing affect supply chain current and future operations during an event June 17 in Philadelphia. “This event provided an open dialogue between several industry partners and senior leaders from each Troop Support supply chain,” Lauren Colabelli, DLA Troop Support J3/5 Marketing Analyst chief and event organizer, said. “Addressing challenges and discovering industry innovations as they apply to current and future battlefields was the main focus of this event.”

Medical helps strengthen U.S. partnerships through readiness

PHILADELPHIA — Two Defense Logistics Agency employees attended a U.S. Army’s Office of the Program Manager - Saudi Arabian National Guard summit last month to inform the host nation’s military about Medical’s services, demonstrate products and evaluate protocols as a way to help strengthen the medical readiness on the battlefield.

Training With Industry through DLA Troop Support: Seizing opportunity

PHILADELPHIA — Ursula Stewart, a contracting officer for the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Industrial Hardware supply chain, has always looked for personal and professional development opportunities. So when she had the chance to apply for the Training With Industry program, Stewart contemplated throwing her hat in the proverbial ring. When she though of applying, she didn’t realize was how challenging and enlightening the process would be in deciding if TWI was right for her. But now, as she is getting ready to depart for Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle, Washington in June, she couldn’t be more excited.
