MIAMI (Dec. 12, 2022) -- A shipment of 300,000 packets of Oral Rehydration Salts, donated by U.S. Southern Command, is loaded onto an Amerijet cargo plane for transit to Haiti. DLA Troop Support Medical supply chain procured the ORS packets for SOUTHCOM who, through their Humanitarian Assistance Program, donated them to the Haitian and Pan American Health Organization. Medical assists with Haiti cholera relief efforts

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Medical supply chain procured 300,000 Oral Rehydration Salt packets last month to support Haiti’s response to a Cholera outbreak within the Caribbean nation.

South East Leadership Summit proves successful

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Members of the Disposition Services South East team held their annual leadership summit, discussing a variety of topics including best practices, operations and leadership techniques as well as getting a tour of the site in Anniston, Alabama.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support's Medical supply chain is acquiring a maximum of $803 million worth of antigen COVID-19 tests over the next year for the Department of Health and Human Services to replenish the Strategic National Stockpile. The first purchase for 180 million tests was awarded on December 22 with deliveries continuing through April.

HDIFC receives VPP Star recertification
