DLA Troop Support provides 96,000 meals and 1,400 cases of bottled water to Hurricane Dorian relief efforts

PHILADELPHIA — As the threat of Hurricane Dorian became imminent, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain ensured meals-ready-to-eat, bottled water and fresh fruits and vegetables were available to those directly impacted by the storm, starting August 29.

Procurement Process Support team recognized for invaluable assistance to Europe and Africa

Expanded operations and plans capability supports Dorian relief efforts of FEMA, government partners

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Operations and Plans Directorate’s expanded capabilities prove valuable in Hurricane Dorian response efforts to support whole of government customers such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency and U.S. Northern Command.

Agency and Marine Corps partner to move an “iron mountain”

DLA Troop Support celebrates two civilian retirees

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support said farewell to two civilian employees during a retirement ceremony August 29. Linda Gruber and Stanley Williams retired from the Construction and Equipment supply chain after 38 and 32 years of service.

The 16 Air Force majors who toured DLA Troop Support in Philadelphia on August 26, 2019, are part of a professional development program for mobility officers at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Operations School. One of the areas of study in the program is supply chain management.

DLA Troop Support gives first-hand lesson on supply chains to Air Force Air Mobility students

PHILADELPHIA — Students and academic leaders from the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Operations School visited the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia Aug. 26 for an overview of the agency’s services and to learn about its mission. The students, who are part of the school’s Advanced Study of Air Mobility program, met with representatives from each of the agency’s five supply chains.

A deputy from Missouri’s Osage County Sheriff office operates a former Coast Guard vessel during spring floods. The craft was obtained through the 1033 program that is administered through DLA Disposition Services.
