Troop Support honors three July retirees with 89 years of combined service

PHILADELPHIA — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s senior leadership gathered to honor three civilian retirees in a joint ceremony July28. With a total of 89 years of combined service, the retirees all left a permanent mark on DLA Troop Support’s workforce through their dedication to the warfighter, the officiant said.

DLA Troop Support hosts Subsistence Field Representatives Summit

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support held their DLA Subsistence Field Representative Summit on July 21-23. A total of 13 field representatives arrived in Philadelphia from various locations across the country.

DLA Troop Support Europe & Africa welcome new commander

KAISERSLAUTERN, Geremany — In a time-honored military tradition, Army Lt. Col. Alan Strange assumed command of Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Europe & Africa from Army Lt. Col. Eduardo Rivera. The ceremony, held at the Armstong Club on Vogelweh, was officiated by Army Brig. Gen. Sean P. Kelly, commander of DLA Troop Support, headquartered in Philadelphia.

This agreement, meant to increase warfighter readiness, produced the latest dataset on 28 June.

Inaugural military medical supply chain, industry meeting reinforces warfighter readiness through partnerships

Cherry Hill, N.J — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Medical supply chain brought government and industry partners together for the first Joint Medical Acquisition Talks in support of warfighter readiness, July14-15. Over 200 representatives from government and industry were in attendance, including representatives from the Army, Veteran’s Affairs and the Defense Health Agency. Hosted by Medical’s Capital Equipment division, the purpose of the meeting was to inform industry stakeholders about current acquisition issues and potential business opportunities within the division’s product lines.
