DLA Aviation employee shares experiences in Executive Mentoring Program

RICHMOND, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Strategic Acquisition and Programs Directorate’s Randall Dortch, an integrated supplier team supervisor, was one of the employees who applied and was selected earlier this year to participate in the two-year DLA Aviation Executive Mentoring Program in Richmond, Virginia.

With dozens of spectators looking on and hurling water balloons in their direction, DLA Land and Maritime teams from the (l-r) Air Force, Navy, Army and Marine Corps take off during the first heat of the inaugural Navy Birthday Cardboard Regatta at the Eagle Eye Golf Course Oct. 16. The Navy team overcame a slow start to win the first heat and ultimately lost in the finals to a civilian team from Business Process Support.
