About DLA Logistics Operations (J3)
The end-to-end management of DLA's eight supply chains falls under the purview of DLA Logistics Operations (J3), which also provides policy, direction, and supervision for logistics and material process management as well as ongoing evaluations of supply chain performance. To impact the logistics supply chain, we incorporate command and control capabilities for emergency operations, tactical, strategic, and operational viewpoints, and adaptive planning. As the primary planner for DLA business operations, DLA Logistics Operations promotes value-added logistics solutions for the warfighter, the Enterprise Business System (EBS), and best business practices. In addition to managing the major subordinate commands' (MSCs') day-to-day operations, our organization works with DLA Headquarters Directorates and MSCs to collect and analyze agency customer requirements.
DLA logistical Operations leverages corporate technologies to optimize logistical combat power and readiness for customers worldwide. Operations and Sustainment (J31), Logistics Policy and Strategic Programs (J34), Plans (J35), DLA CENTCOM & SOCOM, DLA Europe & Africa, DLA Indo-Pacific, and the Business Management Office (BMO) are all in line with our organization's objective.
