Investing in Talent: DLA graduates latest PaCE class in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (Columbus) honored its next generation of leaders Feb. 12, during a Pathways to Career Excellence program graduation ceremony. The event, held in the Defense Supply Center Columbus Operations Center Auditorium, marked a significant career milestone for 123 graduates, including 70 contract specialists, 18 quality assurance specialists, 34 general supply specialists and one finance specialist.

DLA, 1st MAW launch innovative trial to speed up aircraft part delivery in Okinawa

RICHMOND, Va. — In a move to enhance military readiness in the Indo-Pacific, Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support at Ogden and the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing have initiated a 90-day proof-of-concept trial to forward-stock critical aircraft parts in Okinawa, Japan. Now more than halfway through the trial period, this initiative aims to drastically reduce the time it takes to get essential components to Marine Corps aircraft, ensuring they are ready for missions at a moment’s notice.

Eisenhower School Visit

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Commander Navy Rear Adm. George Bresnihan hosts 14 students from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy during a visit to the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, on Feb. 12, 2026.

U.S. Soldiers assigned to 837th Transportation Battalion offload containers and upload vehicles and equipment at the Busan, South Korea, port Feb. 1, 2026. With the help of U.S. Army Transportation, U.S. Transportation Command conducts Operation Turbo Fusion, which demonstrates how the military integrates multiple modes of transportation to move cargo around the globe, even in contested environments. 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, equipment and containers were offloaded while vehicles from 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, were loaded onto the ship. 2SBCT falls under the 2nd Infantry Division contingent at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, and is replacing 1SBCT, 4ID, as the new U.S. Army Korea Rotational Force that will train with the Republic of Korea Army in support of the ROK-US alliance and contribute to readiness in the Indo-Pacific region.
