CFC: What giving means to me

Employees of the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support have donated to the annual Combined Federal Campaign for decades. This CFC season, open from Sept. 21 to Jan. 15, 2021, will continue the tradition of helping those with a need. During this period, the 2,000-plus employee-strong workforce will have the opportunity to represent DLA’s theme, “Be the face of giving,” to any of thousands of causes represented by the CFC.

The gift that keeps on giving

Federal civilians and military service members attached to Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, took advantage of the opportunity to give back, by coming together to raise more than $81,000 in support of the 2019 Combined Federal Campaign which ran from Sept. 9, 2019 through Jan. 12, 2020.

Tis the season for CFC

The Combined Federal Campaign allows employees to give to local, national and international charities. The 2019 campaign ends January 12. CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year.

The Defense Logistics Agency won the Summit Award for raising its 2018 Combined Federal Campaign donations in the National Capital Area by 3 percent and the Participation Achievement Award for increasing the number of participants by 2 percent.
